Having difficulty understand the answer for the three apartment buildings-the highlander, the Ivy and the jacaranda. page 4-40.
There is an inference in the setup as follows:
J:FFFCG
What I don't understand is why can't the inference also be:
J: CGFFF.
I understand that G can't be on floor 5 and C can't be on floor 1 but they could fill either 4, 3, 2, 1?
Please explain.
