Why must D be the answer instead of E? I though S relied upon T to be "in" and not the other way around.

Hi Gab,

The problem is that the third rule states: "If Wells is a project member, neither Ruiz nor Verma can be." Because Wells is a project member, then Verma can't be an option, which rules out answer choice (E).
