Hello ,
how would I go about diagraming statements that have "some" and "without " in them. Do I still negate the sufficient ? I find this troubling because "some" statements can be read in both directions of the Arrow. So technically wouldn't each side be sufficient and necessary for the other ?

Example : some cases of insomnia might improve without any treatment .

Here is my attempt :

cases of insomnia might NOT <some > improve without treatment

Thank you
John

Hi John,

Generally, here's a helpful blog post about diagramming "without": http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/bid/281 ... s-Equation
Overall, though, I think you might be trying to apply diagramming to situations where it isn't appropriate. Some context might help us better address your question. Can you give an example of a logical reasoning question you're struggling with, so we can try to help you apply these concepts?
