Additional Premises::What role they play exactly?

LR Bible mentions that Additional Premise can be central to the argument or they may be secondary. Can you folks please give an example where Additional Premise is an central to the argument?

Also does an argument can have both Additional Premise as well as Counter -Premise in a Stimuli?

Thanks for the question! Basically, an additional premise would be central to the argument any time the additional premise is relied on by the conclusion in some way; it is really just a question of how important the additional premise is to the argument. You could definitely have a question that includes both an additional premise and a counter-premise!
