How would you contrapositive this, if in exam, when you know the contrapositive goes against common sense assumptions

If you’re in Paris, you will be in France

Surely the MN AND MR are both also correct

The MN and MR aren't correct there, actually! Start with:

  • Paris  France

MR: France  Paris ... is that true? when you're in France you're always in Paris? No, you could be in Lyon, or Marseille, etc.

MN: Paris  France. Also wrong, because if you're not in Paris that doesn't mean you're not in France. You could again be in Lyon, or Bordeaux, and so forth.

The contrapositive is the only one that does make sense and has to be true:

CP: France  Paris. If you aren't in France, then there's NO way you can be in Paris :-D

Thanks!
