Hi,

I have a Question on the Logic Games Drill, page 25 question number 8. I understand why ABC and CBA cannot be placed in that order, due to the rule “If A sits next to B, then B does not sit next to C.” I also see how ACB and BCA are possible, but cant BAC and CAB be possibilities as well?

Thanks
Summer

Hey Summer - thanks for the question. I believe you're actually referring to the drill on page 35, and the answer to your question is yes, both BAC and CAB are also possible under that rule. The key is recognizing that even though the rule sounds conditional ("if...then"), instead of diagramming it with the traditional arrow diagram, recognize that two not blocks are created--NOT ABC and NOT CBA--and show those.

Thanks!
