Hi,

I have a quick question on the difference between 'can' and 'do' in LSAT.
In your explanation on question 4, you stated that answer choices (C) and (E) are the same.
But I noticed there is a subtle difference between the two, when compared:

(C) If people know for certain whether their actions are legal, they can feel secure.
(E) Of people know for certain whether their actions are legal, they feel secure. (and I understood this as people do feel secure.

Should they be treated as the same in LSAT?

Hi Harry,

It's not that "can" and "do" should be treated the same on the LSAT; my reference there is to the fact that both are Mistaken Negations, and thus contain the identical error

Subtleties in language do often make a difference in whether answers are right or wrong, so your attention to detail here will serve you well going forward.
