I am curious about answer A - "the first irrigated crop grown is not potatoes." How is this answer achieved? I got all of the other answers correct and compared my diagrams/templates, but I chose D. Please let me know how you diagramed this problem.

If the latter, then the correct answer is relatively easy to spot. However, here, we don't have that, and so the next step is to "test" the answer choices.

For A, if it were true that potatoes were the first irrigated crop, then we would have place potatoes in the third spot, because when potatoes are placed in any other spot, they must be fertilized. Even I selected D. I am not very sure how A is the right answer choice here mainly because, If P comes 1, then we can have the following block without defacing any rules:
PF, SI, OF, VI, RI/F. This does not violate any rules. Clueless..

Answer D COULD be true, aadhiswaran, but this is a MUST be true question, and that situation didn't have to be true.
