Our first premise outlines that people behave differently (i.e. inauthentically) when they are aware that they are being filmed. The filmmakers tactic of hiding cameras supposedly allows the documentary's subjects to act naturally (i.e. authentically). Finally, the filmmaker draws the conclusion that his films are more worthwhile than others. Why is this? Presumably, because the subjects of his documentaries are behaving more authentically. Therefore, there has to be some sort of underlying principle that dictates that the more authentic a documentary is, the more worthwhile it is. This is not something that is implicitly true.
