I chose answer choice D because all others were blatantly irrelevant and D shared the conclusion purported by the stimulus - but honestly it does clearly justify the filmmaker at all -
The answer choice draws a causal relationship between authenticity and worthiness - but the filmmaker never makes the
explicit claim that his method is more authentic

Hi Moshe!

Our stimulus actually does tie in the concept of authenticity, though they do not explicitly use the word. Our first premise outlines that people behave differently (i.e. inauthentically) when they are aware that they are being filmed. The filmmakers tactic of hiding cameras supposedly allows the documentary's subjects to act naturally (i.e. authentically). Finally, the filmmaker draws the conclusion that his films are more worthwhile than others. Why is this? Presumably, because the subjects of his documentaries are behaving more authentically. Therefore, there has to be some sort of underlying principle that dictates that the more authentic a documentary is, the more worthwhile it is. This is not something that is implicitly true. Therefore, Answer Choice D allows us to explicitly state that yes, the more authentically a documentary depicts its subjects, the more worthwhile it is.

I hope this helps!
