As PowerScore CEO and author of the LSAT Bibles Dave Killoran explains in the blog posts above, often, the biggest changes to the books aren't fundamental conceptual overhauls, but rather expansions of drills and discussions, refinements of explanations, and cover-to-cover adjustments to account for small test trends and recent points of emphasis.
As far as the 2017 Editions, he stated that the 2016 LRB and 2016 LGB versions are fine to use in 2017, but that the 2017 RCB received numerous updates compared to the 2016 RCB, and so that's the one book of the three where he suggests to get an updated version.
