I was originally in medical school and decided to pursue law instead... and I want to make sure I am starting the right way! Due to general life cirumstances I only have the June opportunity to take the LSAT and I know I can do it; the content on the LSAT includes all of my strengths. But... I want to make sure I do it right. I have ordered the Powerscore books, which are on their way, and have access to the student portal and all that. I have an in-person prep course starting on March 27-May 20 or something like that. Am I on the right track? What can I do until my books get here/course starts?

Hi, najahsyed!

Thanks for the question! You are most certainly off to a good start by purchasing the Bibles and an LSAT course. :-D For starters, you might want to refer to this blog post we wrote regarding studying on your own before an LSAT course: http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/bid/336 ... SAT-Course

You have about one month to study before classes begin, which means you can complete our One-Month LSAT Self-Study Plan: https://s3.amazonaws.com/studentcenter/ ... y_plan.pdf

You will need the Bible Trilogy and might want to consider the corresponding workbooks, but not any of the PrepTests listed in the plan, as you'll be able to download those from the Online Student Center upon receipt of your login credentials.I'd also probably skip the Question-Type Training assignments, because these questions will ultimately be part of your course homework. :)

I hope this is enough to get you started! Let us know if you have any further questions!
