Hi,
I was just wondering when using the self-study practice lsat scoring if most people only recorded their timed scores or untimed? Usually when I do a practice test I time myself even if its untimed but allow myself to go above the time to keep an eye on how long it takes me to do each section. So would people recommend submitting your raw score untimed or taking a few questions off depending on how much I've gone over the time?
For example, a few weeks back I scored a 165 untimed (going a fair bit over on logic games (about 20 mins over)). Today, I scored a 166 untimed, and went 2 minutes over on reading comprehension, 3 on logic games and 3 on one of the logical reasoning sections (was 9 minutes under on the other one) (although I was in a really noisy area so it was hard to concentrate), so I'd dock probably 5 points from my raw score.
I just want to give myself an idea of how much progress I'm making. To give context, I've been studying since the last week of May (with a 2.5 week break due to summer travel and currently still travelling). I'm about week 8/9 of the Powerscore Self Study 3 month plan (ahead for logical reasoning, on track with logic games, behind with reading comprehension and practice tests so I didn't have to take as many books travelling haha), and my first raw timed score was 155.
Thanks!!
Catherine
