Hello!

I started studying for the LSAT in early May and purchased all the Powerscore Bibles. After a couple practice tests, I thought it wise to take the online Powerscore Course to really practice the techniques head on. I am seeing noticeable improvement in my practice test scores but not enough where I would be comfortable taking the September LSAT.

I also recently scored a great job and it is a great opportunity for me personally. With all of this going on, I felt like I would best be served taking the December LSAT so I still have time to take the necessary amount of practice tests and work on my weaknesses.

My question is, how do I best maintain all the skills and techniques I have learned from the course up until December? Especially since I will be working full-time (the hours will be rather erratic). I'd appreciate any advice given. Thanks!

Hi Tyler!

First of all, congratulations on the new job!

If you are registered for an online PowerScore course, then you should have access to your recorded lessons up until the December LSAT. I would recommend rewatching those and working back through the course material beginning in mid- to late-September. If you can work through about 1-2 lessons per week like that in your spare time, that will keep you on top of concepts and allow you to review material you have gone through this summer, building up to December. Also, utilize the Online Modules found on the Online Student Center (which you should also still have access to until December), many of which you may not have found the time to get to yet.

In addition, try to do one practice test per week for the first few weeks of your preparation, perhaps on the weekends. As you move into late October/early November, look to step that up to about 2 tests per week in the final couple of weeks before December. If you schedule accordingly, this step up in Practice Tests will line up with finishing the review of the course material, so you will be able to transition much of your time from prep/review to practice tests. This is exactly what you want to be working on in the days leading up to Test Day.

Good luck!
