Anyone else waiting for their June 2011 LSAT scores? Just want to make sure I'm not the only one starting to panic right now.

Yes, I'm stressing about it too.

I think it's possible that the scores could come out this Friday. I keep telling myself that there is nothing I can do at this point...no point in stressing.

Yep, waiting and stressing as well. Hopefully they come out this Friday so I can quit thinking over every last detail of what I could have done wrong!

Could today be the day??? It'd be so much better if they come out today instead of Monday to make for a most excellent weekend (or a completely awful weekend, I guess, depending on the result  ). Either way, BRING IT ON!

Hey everyone!

We're definitely rooting for today, Friday, but thinking that Monday's a likelier option. We actually just put up a blog post talking about the most likely release date for the June 2011 LSAT scores (and why we're putting our money on Monday). Check it out: http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/june-20 ... ease-date/

Good luck! :)

Interesting info, Anne. Thanks!

I wonder why they set the official release date this year for a Wednesday instead of a Monday?

BWM, I definitely don't know the answer to that question, but I did notice that they also have the score release date on a Wednesday for the October LSAT and a Friday for the December LSAT, neither of which they've done in the last 7 years (see http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/lsat-sc ... ase-dates/). Perhaps they're just revamping their whole score-release schedule?

Or perhaps they just want to drive test-takers crazy? ;)

The June LSAT scores are out! It looks like the curve is at -11 for a 170.

Good luck to everyone!

The June 2011 Scale is much tighter than the December 2010 LSAT scale, but not close to the tightest scales of all time. See http://www.powerscore.com/lsat/help/cor ... rgeted.cfm for a look at the scales from LSATs over the past several years (we'll get June 2011 added on there shortly).

The test had 101 scored questions, and here's what it looks like in 5-point increments:

180: -1
175: -5
170: -11
165: -18
160: -26
155: -35
150: -45
145: -54
140: -62

The -1 to get a 180 tells you that LSAC considered very few of the questions to be of top-level difficulty (remember--it's relative; that doesn't mean there weren't a bunch of tough questions on this test!).

After you slide down past the 170s, this scale is about in the middle of recent scales, meaning this was neither a very easy or very difficult test from a logical standpoint (if that last sentence seemed confusing, see http://www.powerscore.com/lsat/help/scale.cfm for more info).
