Hi, all. I have a very puzzling situation. Although not a devastation, it is a pretty significant annoyance. I just noticed that LSAC moved my testing locating from what I had requested to one that is even farther away. I registered for the November test back in August, so I am frankly quite shocked that they would have the audacity to move my center. I did not get any notification or email regarding this. I would surmise it is too late to have my testing center restored to the original location, but why in the heck would LSAC do this, especially when I signed up well in advance of the test date administration?

I went from being in a situation where I could get where I needed to be relatively cheaply by public transit to a situation where I'll quite possibly have to rent a car and spend a decent amount of money in order to take the test.

Hi Ndoda,

They have been doing this quite frequently this year, often due to proctor issues and also to consolidate locations. So, it sucks this has happened but there is nothing you can do about it other than complain and hope they respond positively :(

Same here Ndoda! Registered in August for November and they moved my location to a place 30 minutes away on Monday, so I'm with you. It's really rude & when I emailed them, so were they!

Just following up, I really plead my case and insisted strongly, even drafted an email to accompany my phone complaint instead of waiting for the supervisor to "get back to me." They relented Thursday evening and moved me to a center in close proximity to me. Test wound up going smoothly (bit of traffic and a few loud construction bangs, but it's Manhattan). The problem was really on them, so I think this was only fair, but I'm glad I did not accept "just try standy" since they proved even for registered test takers without assignment/location snafus like mine they were unreliable.

Goes to show "oh, there's nothing we can do, too late, sorry" is usually bs.

Hi all! Posting this on relevant threads. If you are a test taker with an accommodation impacted by the November 2019 cancellations/changes, I started a thread about just that! I suspect the issues disproportionately impacted test takers with accommodations and am collecting information to submit as an ADA complaint to the DOJ.
