LSAC has just emailed October 2020 Flex test takers to inform them that beginning next Tuesday, 9/22, at noon Eastern students will be able to select the specific day and time of their October exam.

You can sign up via your lsac.org account, and request a start time in twenty-minute intervals from roughly 7 am to 7 pm EST on the following dates:

  • * Saturday, October 3, 2020
    * Sunday, October 4, 2020
    * Tuesday, October 6, 2020
    * Thursday, October 8, 2020
There will also be a small number of tests given on Wednesday, October 7 for select proctoring scenarios.

While slots generally do not fill up, if you know you have a particular day and time you'd like to test we encourage you to select it as soon as you can, as signing up is always first-come, first-served.

Let us know if you have any questions and good luck with your registration!

Would you say that later testing days contain more difficult tests i.e., LSAC makes up for the extra days given to later test takers by making the test slightly more difficult?

Hi iLSAT180!

Nope. :) The tests on later days are not necessarily "more difficult" or "easier"! The "difficulty level" of a test all comes down to chance and also your individual strengths and weaknesses. These posts should help clarify:
Also, all LSATs are designed to be roughly equal, so when a test is logically harder, you get a looser scale. If a test is logically easier, then you get a tighter scale. So, in the long run, it offsets and brings everything to the middle. :)

Thanks!

Hi there,

I'm having trouble signing up for a test slot using their instructions. Is there an LSAC or ProctorU number I can call for urgent help? Thanks a lot.

Just fyi, it won't be urgent on their part—their phone lines are being crushed by calls right now, and there are delays up to an hour. Regrettably, there's no choice but to wait now, or call back later :(

Thank you so much, Dave and Stephanie. I was able to solve the problem with ProctorU's online live help after about an hour. For anyone who sees the post and cannot set up a ProctorU account, go to their website and find the help page.

Anyone using Firefox have difficulty passing the equipment test on ProctorU?
Everything is up to date on my Firefox browser as per ProctorU instructions, but it appears as though there is a problem perhaps with my speakers. It works ok on Chrome however.
The technicians took control of my desktop and told me they fixed the problem, but nope, same problem after a reboot.
Anyone experienced this?

Hi there, I believe ProctorU recommends using Chrome, so that might be the reason why you're having issues with Firefox.

Thanks for the reply.
I thought I saw that Firefox was also supported, but since my problem only occurs when I use Firefox, I think I have my answer.
I just prefer/am comfortable with Firefox, so would rather use it on test day (I know, I know :lol: )
