On Saturday, 6/11, LSAC began pre-testing some preliminary, potential changes to the Logic Games section with an "experimental" set of games and several accompanying survey questions. Many people encountered this surprise twist as they reached section 4 of their exams, prefaced with a disclaimer announcing that the section was for research purposes only and would not count.
Obviously, this unexpected situation caught test takers off-guard and has led to a lot of confusion as to precisely what happened and why.
