Hello!

I have a question regarding the LSAT writing portion. I noticed that sometimes there are details in the prompt (ex. profit margins or costs) that are irrelevant to the two criteria they outlined, but would realistically be an element that can and should be considered when making a decision of that nature. In these cases, would it be beneficial to include at least a brief discussion on the impact of those "irrelevant" points, or would it be better to skip over it since it does not relate to the criteria given?

Thank you!

Those details are rarely irrelevant, lsatstudent22! Find a way to use them to your advantage! if you can't, don't force the issue, but the details are there to give you something to work with. You may not see their relevance at first, but while doing your planning give some thought to how you might leverage those details in favor of one option or against the other.
