Hi there....Just purchased the Prep Test 62/Dec 2010 in the Deconstructed Series books and was wondering if there was a slight typo/error in the explanation for answer choice (A) in Question 19, from the first section of the LR.

I answered this question correctly with (D), but just wanted to make sure that my method for ruling out (A) was in sync with yours. On page, 108, the explanation for ruling out (A) says that "the only thing we know about independently owned pet stores..."

Whereas, (A) itself talks about stores that are "not independently owned..." Isn't that enough to rule out (A) as being correct, since we don't know anything about stores that aren't independently owned? We only know from the stimulus that for those that are independently owned, they don't sell gerbils.

Thanks in advance....

Hi cecilia,

Thanks for your message--good catch! Incorrect answer choice A talks about non-independently owned stores, about which the stimulus provides no information. That will be noted on the website and addressed in the next printing.

Thanks again!
