Is the LSAT Percentile calculated based people on a whole test (August test e.g.) or based on the people taking the same four sections in a test?

Hey Booker,

It's neither, actually. Percentiles are based on a three-year rolling pool of test takers. So, you typically are looking at the prior 3 years of examinees (up to and including any given examination) to establish the current percentile table. This way they achieve stability over time, and you don't have any wild fluctuations, which could occur on a single test if the test population depending on how the population for that exam shapes up.

Thanks!
