Hello,

I took the LSAT in October (2024) for first time in person at a Prometric site. I got an email today about a temporary score hold, but cannot think of anything that went wrong during my test.

Any one have this experience or is there common knowledge about what may be holding up my score? separately I have seen it is another 1-2 weeks to see my score, is that an accurate time line?

Thanks!

Hi ginoba1!

I hope your score has been released already or will be soon. That can certainly be frustrating and anxiety-inducing!

It could be something as simple as someone accidentally walking too closely behind your testing area, background noise in the test center, or you were touching your face often at some point, so it was flagged for review to make sure it was accidental and not cheating. Anecdotally, most students report that their scores were eventually released - usually within a week or so - so I hope this helps relieve some anxiety.

We have also heard anecdotal reports/rumors that this can be related to a high score, so I hope this is the case for you. :-D.

Thanks!
