My PowerScore test prep books are from 2010, and I just want to make sure the recommendation for the guessing strategy in each section hasn't changed:

Reading Comprehension: Guess D
Logical Reasoning: Guess D, last 5 guess E
Logic Games: Guess B, last 5 guess A, last question in each game guess C

Please advise!

Hi AJ,

Thanks for the question. To forestall any of the information being out-of-date, we keep a constantly updated page of the basic guessing strategy tables at http://www.powerscore.com/lsat/help/guessing.cfm. that's accessible through your Online Student Center or our LSAT Free Help Area.

Coincidentally, I also posted a blog on advanced guessing strategy just this past Monday at http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/bid/326 ... or-Answers.

Thanks!

Dave outlined this strategy in his blog post, but I'm assuming many people are going to be too lazy to read it.

The most simple, effective guessing strategy is to guess the answer that came up the fewest number of time in that section. So if you're up to #20, and only answered one question with A, guess the rest with A if you're out of time. Simple enough, right?

Good luck!
