I am taking the full-length powerscore course. Besides doing the prescribed homework, is there anything else anyone recommends doing to study?

Plenty! First, as you mentioned, there is the homework in the book for each lesson - that's always good to work on, as it will expand on the material covered in the corresponding lesson. Then there's reviewing the lesson itself - if there were concepts covered that you don't feel you entirely understood, read them over with fresh eyes and see if they make more sense. As well, if your class skipped some of the questions, as often happens due to time constraints, go over those too.

Next, visit the Online Student Center and check out the resources associated with each lesson there - lesson recaps, additional explanations, and a link to the "crucial homework" that gives you guidance on what's best to do if you don't have time to do everything (because we know that life happens).

Don't be afraid to revisit older lessons, too - you don't want to let those skills that you acquired early, like conditional reasoning or basic linear setups, to atrophy. When you have made it to lesson 4 or 5, it couldn't hurt to take a look back at lessons 1 and 2 and any prior homework you might have skipped to keep those ideas fresh and your skills sharp.

Finally, as you get further along in the course, you can start delving into additional practice tests and problem sets, all found in the Online Student Center. Drill on extra Logical Reasoning questions or games or Reading Comp passages based on your own analysis of your particular strengths and weaknesses.

Great question, and an admirable go-get-'em attitude! Good luck and study hard!
