Hi,

Even though I tend to do best on the Reading Comprehension section, my goal is to get down from 2-5 mistakes to zero mistakes for the September LSAT. The reading passages I struggle with most are the science and sometimes the law-related ones. Do you have any reading recommendations or general advice on how to improve my understanding of those passages? I already did a Powerscore course and proper underlining etc is now a habit for me, but if you have any additional advice, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! :)

Hi mes08,

Thanks for your question. Improvement on RC is a function of a lot of practice (a LOT), but there are other things you can do besides doing RC passages. Here are a few blog posts on the topic that you might find useful:

As discussed in the last blog post above, I strongly recommend getting into the habit of reading scientific publications for laypeople (Science, Nature, National Geographic, etc.). This can familiarize you with the language used in the Science passages on the LSAT, and also increase your level of engagement with these passages.

Definitely check out all the blog posts mentioned above.

Good luck!
