Hello PowerScore,

I have a quick question. Like most people in their early 20s, I hate waking up early. In fact I have woken up early a mornings to take practice LSATs and I seem to really be off my game with respect to timing, memorizing, ect. But should I start waking up around 6am every day just for my body to have plenty of time to adjust for the September LSAT or should I wake up relatively early until test week and then begin waking up at 6am? What is your advice/recommended approach to solving this issue.

Thanks!
Garrett

Hello Garrett K,

I'm not a sleep expert, so it sounds as if either approach you mention above might work. (Don't hold me to that guess, though! Again, I'm not a sleep expert!!)
The second approach, I have to say, may be a little more moderate. E.g., if you woke at 9 a.m. for the next week after now, then 8 a.m. the following week, and 7 a.m. the following week, and eventually 6 a.m.--or something like that--, that might be more gradual than to force yourself to wake up at 6 a.m. right now.
So, it's your call, though they say that moderation never hurts! Good luck,

Hope this helps,
David
