I'm planning to attend a Canadian law school and I'm wondering whether the 1L Advantage course applies to Canadian law school curriculum or is specific to American curriculum.

Hi slhall,

Good question! While some specifics may be different (Canadian Constitutional Law, for example, is not discussed in our course), a Canadian law school’s first year core curriculum is similar to ours in many ways, and the 1L advantage course provides insight into (and extensive examples of) the type of lecture and analysis undertaken in law school on both sides of the border. In addition, study skill requirements are similar on both sides of the border, so the critical assistance in that area is applicable as well.

I hope that's helpful! Please let me know if you have other questions--thanks!

~Steve
