Hi there,

I'm having a hard time with question number 16. I put E but I wasn't really sure why; I basically went down through options A-D and didn't see any issues with them so figured it must be E. Any advice would be amazing! The main inference I get here is that you can't have any O on Monday, since the second batch goes along with the first batch of P...but beyond that I'm pretty stumped.

First things first, meercat44, and that's to correct that inference. If the first P is the same day as the second O, then it's P that cannot go Monday, not O. O is just fine on Monday!

Next, as this is a Must Be True question, finding that answers don't have any issues really isn't what you're after. Rather, you have to find the one answer that cannot be violated. The will be plenty of things that could be true, but only one that has to be true.

With nothing on Wednesday in this local question, and with P never on Monday, that means the three Ps will have to be Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. There's all the proof you need that answer choice D MUST be true! S and P both have to be on Thursday! Boom, problem solved!

Sketch out the rest of what you know must happen in this situation, and you'll see that the first S and the third O have some flexibility, such that none of the other answers has to happen, although they are all possible.
