Hello saranash1,

The educator George references says only that it's more likely that kids read to when young'll enjoy reading when they're grown up. Not certain 100%, just more likely. So the educator's claim is consistent with the cases George mentions, since the educator would probably admit that there're a few exceptions to the rule.
