In the two templates, O or P is assigned to lane 2, and this fact eliminates answer choices (B), (C), and (E). Thus, only answer choice (A) remains, and, accordingly, answer choice (A) is correct. Under Template #2, the runners can be assigned in an L-O-N-P-S order.

I have been trying to work through this problem but keep running into difficulties answering the final 2 questions (23 & 24). I am not very confident in my set up for this question and any help in how to approach the game as a whole would be greatly appreciated.

The problem deals with five runners and five charities that represent each runner.

For #24, the question gives you a vertical block with L on top and J on the bottom. For this question, both possible scenarios could work, since L is a random and can go anywhere.
