Hey dshen,
There is lots of evidence for the view of the defendant's innocence - they had an alibi, they presented evidence, and they were aqcuitted. On the contrary, there is no evidence for their guilt aside from the fact that the prosecutor brought charges against them (which is what the TV host cites as support for their belief).
