Hi,

I had a technical question. The last sentence of the stimulus says that until about 10 years ago sunscreens protected against UV-B radiation but not against UVA protection. So, from this we should not conclude that currently suncreens protect against UVA as well, right?

Hi Arindom,

Right.

The sentence you mention does not make any statement about sunscreens from any time more recent than ten years ago. In other words, nowhere in this stimulus is anything stated about sunscreens from the last ten years; all we know about sunscreens from the stimulus concerns those that are more than ten years old.
