I am confused on question 15. I assume this is all about diagramming, which is not my strong suit.

If this is indeed diagramming, will you please go over the stimulus diagram and relate it to the diagram of the correct answer (E).

Hi Wisconsin,

Diagramming helps on this question, but it's not strictly necessary. The stimulus says that:

(1) a will happen only if b and c happen, and
(2) if b happens, c won't happen

That's how I think about these parallel reasoning questions. I boil the elements down to their core components and think about them in the above terms.

If this is tough for you to do, then that's fine. You can symbolically diagram the answer as follows:

A B and C
B not C

Not (B and C)

Not A

Answer choice (E) has the same format. See below:

R (B and N)
B Not N

Not (B and N)

Not R
