Has there been any progress on this question? I see the previous response was from April 2023.

This was particularly difficult for me to determine the conclusion and was just hoping to read an explanation.

Hi abullard!

To help with identifying a conclusion in a given stimulus, it can be helpful to take a given sentence or clause, and then ask, "Why does the author say this?" If you can respond, "Because X, Y, and Z," and you can find X, Y, and Z within the stimulus, that tells you that the sentence you were looking at is a conclusion, and X, Y, and Z are premises used to support it.

Here, take the sentence, "Yet these premiums should also increase with the frequency with which a person drives." Why does the author say this? The author goes on to explain that this is because "a person’s chance of being involved in a mishap increases in proportion to the number of times that a person drives." The analysis doesn't need to get any more confusing beyond that--for example, the answer choices don't require one to differentiate between a main conclusion and subsidiary conclusion.
