Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could provide some tips about when to draw out templates for logic games questions. Are there any recommendations for when to and not to draw out templates?

Thanks!

Jenna,

There are a few places where we discuss this topic in general terms:

https://www.powerscore.com/lsat/help/ls ... plates.cfm

https://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/bid-31 ... -Set-Games

Chapter 9 of the Logic Games Bible also discusses this topic, as well as Lesson 9 of the Live Online course.

Beyond that, this list is helpful: https://www.powerscore.com/gamesbible/l ... ification/ Any game on this list labeled "Identify the Templates" or "Identify the Possibilities" is considered by us to be a good game on which to use these strategies. Further, going to the forum post on the Setup for each game will, if we have such a thread posted, give an explanation of the setup that should include reasoning behind why we would set up such a game as a Limited Solution Set game. Recognizing when such features are present in games you've not seen before can be helpful.
