Hello,
I had a question regarding a drill on page 12-37 question 6 answer choice B. Although I didn't choose this incorrect answer choice I was wondering how one knows that P is before both other variables.

Thank you for your clarification,

best,

Basia

Hi Basia,

I'm not sure I completely understand your question, but I'll do my best. In the diagram, P is to the left of the Q/R possibility, so you need an answer choice that also indicates that P is before either Q or R. B could either be the diagram presented OR could be Q/R, P. Does that make sense?
