How is the answer not E? You have two groups experts and parents, would parents in the answer choice not be considered the individual, since it seems that parenting from the stimulus is derived to be individualistic?

Hi saiffshaikhh!

Parenting seems individualistic in the stimulus insofar as it's saying that parents know their own children so may be best situated to know what parenting methods are best for them. If we convert the stimulus into a more general form, it's saying that one might not always have to follow the experts--especially when one is more familiar with the subject matter.

That is what answer choice (C) gets at. It includes the familiarity with a given subject matter, and also the recommendation that one need not follow the experts when it comes to that matter. I think a problem with answer choice (E) is it doesn't bring in experts at all, which is essential to the reasoning in the stimulus.
