Those suffering from depression and those that are good-natured have different general dispositions, so the connection between social interaction and disposition is just in the explicit words of answer choice (E). Then we just have a reverse causation scenario - the already-existing better disposition of certain people made them interact in social situations more than depressed people, which in turn stimulated left lobe activity. So disposition causes front lobe activity, not vice versa like the conclusion says.
