A is incorrect because while drugs don't slow down the effects of aging, a lack of exercise apparently accelerates those effects. Not exercising makes you old! Taking drugs doesn't make you old; it just doesn't do anything to keep you young. So, we don't know that the two things have the same effect on aging as each other.

Answer E is supported because exercise does slow the effects of aging, while taking drugs does not. Therefore, if you want to slow down the effects of aging, exercise is the more practical option. Doing something is better than doing nothing.
