Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?t=15015)

The correct answer choice is (A)

This question stem establishes that the R _ M block is positioned between T and W (with T W, in compliance with the first rule). Again, begin your analysis by focusing on the R _ M block, which takes up three adjacent spaces and provides the highest level of restriction in the game. There seem to be three ways to accommodate that block here, remembering that V must always be either third or fourth:

You should notice that only one of these setups provides a workable solution to the game (the first one). The second and the third diagrams cannot accommodate the rotating PS block, which helps eliminate answer choices (B), (C), and (D). Answer choice (E) is also incorrect, because P and S must occupy two adjacent spaces, which would be impossible if W were in the sixth position:

Since P could be fifth, answer choice (A) could be true and is therefore correct.

Of course, the time it takes to solve this question would be significantly reduced with a Templates-based approach. Only Template 1 allows for both R and M to be between T and W, immediately proving that answer choice (A) is correct.
