My September score wasn't what I wanted but it's good enough for most of the schools I'm looking at. I'm retaking in December to try for at least my PT average but should I go ahead and apply now? If I apply now, should I write an addendum about another score coming or will they see that I'm registered?
From my own observations on LSN and from some articles, my understanding is that applying earlier for T-14 schools is pretty significant.

I'm at 170/3.57 and applying to Michigan, Duke, Virginia, Penn, Northwestern, and Cornell. Also, I want to do ED to UChicago; it's a reach, but LSN says there's a chance.

Hi Cowboys Fan,

I'm sorry things didn't go quite as well as you'd hoped. Once law schools know another score is coming, they won't review your app (unless you are basically an auto-admit or deny), so in your case there's no urgency to apply now. Plus, any delay this causes you will be outweighed if you can score higher. See: http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/does-su ... ur-chances for more info on how that works.

With your ED app in mind, you should also read this article: http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/applyin ... -not-to-ed.

Both those articles should give you some clear ideas on the best way to proceed. If you do put in apps, they'll get an update from LSAC with your registration, but you can also pen a short note and let them know you signed up again.

Please let me know if that helps. Thanks!
