Hi there!

This may be an oddly pedantic question, but I find myself wondering:

Do law school admissions committees see email correspondence with the office (such as requests for rescheduling an interview, or requesting an application fee waiver)? If so, might the correspondence influence a decision in any way?

Thanks so much

Hi Tal!

I doubt that most schools thoroughly review your email correspondence as a significant part of your application materials. That being said, however, your correspondence will likely leave an impression on the people you are corresponding with so it's always important to make sure that your tone is friendly and professional, that you express appreciation for any effort the individuals you are writing to put into answering your questions and/or fulfilling your requests, and that you generally come across as someone who they wouldn't mind having around for the next 3 years. Also remember to proofread before you hit send!

Hope this helps!

Best,
Kelsey
