Hello all!

This might be a ridiculous question, but I am in need of help with LSAC's "Ethnicity Information" so I can continue working on my application. Once I click "submit" I can no longer change my answer. I normally simply answer "caucasian" however the options are "European", "Middle Eastern", "North African" or "Other Caucasian/White".

I am not sure if I am supposed to put European, as I have European ancestry (German, Lithuanian, Polish), however since the early 1900s my family has been in America. I feel ridiculous asking this, but does "Other Caucasian/White" mean American? Or am I supposed to put European? I want to be sure I get this 100% correct as I cannot change it. I am not sure which one I should put!!

Thank you for any and all help!!

Hi Graham!

If your ancestry is European, then put European. The "other Caucasian/white" category is for applicants who are considered white but whose ancestry is from non-European ethnic groups.

Hope that helps!
