Hi!

I am in the process of applying for Fall 2021. I graduated from college in December of 2019 and shortly after began working on a political campaign. The campaign ended on March 9th and COVID-19 started shutting things down a few days later. Unfortunately, due to the current economic situation, I have been out of work since. Would it be advantageous for me to write an addendum for the 6-month employment gap on my resume or would this be something that Ad Comms would already have in the back of their heads?

Thanks!

Hi Cameron,

Thanks for the question! The gap—and the timing—are not notable, and you would be drawing attention to something that isn't asking for an explanation. So, I'd recommend you not write an addendum here.

Thanks!
