Hi! So I had a question about whether or not I should write an addendum concerning my LSAT scores. I took the LSAT in September 2019 and scored a 163, which was a bit lower than my practice tests (but not by much). I then spent this whole last summer studying extremely hard and managed to bring my score up 14 points to a 177 in the October 2020 LSAT Flex. Do you think it would be a good idea/necessary to write an addendum? I've seen so much conflicting information online and wanted to get another opinion. Thanks!

Hi Ricky,

Thanks for the post, and congrats on the score increase! I wouldn’t write one here — it’s fairly clear that you retook the test on the belief you could do better, and then successfully did so. :) The 14-point score increase is great news, and it’s not a red flag to admissions committees. Since schools only report their students’ highest LSAT scores to the ABA, in the school's eyes you are 177. :-D

Thanks!
