I am in quite a unique situation. I have a 178 LSAT but only a 3.0 GPA. I will be applying to law school for the 2023-24 year so I have another year and a half to improve my GPA but I would like to know how to evaluate my chances when applying to schools, and which schools I should apply to.

Hi yanis!

Thanks for the post! For starters, this is a helpful tool that you can use to enter your GPA and LSAT score: https://officialguide.lsac.org/Release/ ... ALSAT.aspx. This will provide you with a helpful breakdown of how you would measure up, and you can specifically look at schools you have in mind!

Also, we have a blog post, https://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/which- ... -friendly/, that may help as well!

Also, if you have a valid reason for your lower GPA (medical issues, one low semester, etc,) you can consider writing an addendum to explain your lower GPA: https://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/whats- ... h-addenda/.

I hope this helps! Thanks!
