Should I plan to write an addendum?

I was homeschooled for my whole life up until I went to a community college and my first semesters were a little rocky grade-wise. Throughout the rest of my time there and from when I transferred to a university, my GPA was a 4.0. Should I right an addendum to ensure law schools notice the upward trend?

If you have a circumstance that helps to explain a grade trend, absolutely provide it! The key is that you want to write it not as an excuse, but as a story that highlights your positive growth.
