For reasons out of my control I had two gap semesters in undergrad., One freshman year and once sophmore year. I explain the reason for this in my personal statement as it has to do with the story Im telling in my essay. That said, is it necessary to also include an addendum to address it? I wasn't going to initially, since I thought the essay would suffice as an explanation. But it occurred to me the person reviewing my transcript might not be reading my essay at the same time, so perhaps I should write an adenddum out of caution? I'm not sure. I also dont want to inadvertently draw unecessary attention to it if its not a big deal.

If it's explained in your essay, you will be covered. Typically a reader of your app reviews all parts together, otherwise they wouldn't get a complete picture of who you are.

Thanks!
