Is it worth mentioning community service activities even if they have been held a few times? For example, tutoring for only one day or packaging food for poor families, say for only 8 hours? Also, I participated in a fundraising and walk for breast cancer awareness only for one year. Not sure if this is too little to mention....?

Hi Anahi,

It probably isn't worth mentioning it, unless it adds up to something substantial, it fits into a broader overall theme, or you would have nothing else to list.

That's probably how you were thinking of it too, from your comments :-D

Thanks!

Hi Anahi,

I probably wouldn't mention it: you need something more substantial, or else you risk giving the impression that you're trying to bolster your application with activities that have little meaning. This, in turn, will draw attention to a potential weakness in your application.

Just my 2c.
