Hello Johnny Vaughn,
While I think that LSAT and college GPA are important, there are many other factors (e.g., what you did in the summer between college and law school) that could also be important. 1L GPA may even be the most important factor. (Would you rather have a 180 LSAT and a 0.00 1L GPA, or a 120 LSAT and a 4.00 1L GPA, when applying as a transfer to a new law school?)
The US News article ""Stand Out as a Law School Transfer Applicant: Top grades are critical for first-year law students who want to transfer." at
http://www.usnews.com/education/best-gr ... -applicant is an informative look at this, including, as per its title, the importance of the 1L GPA.
Best of luck!
Hope this helps,
David
