So I got a 161 in October which is disappointing compared to my pt's. I'm considering a retake but I was wondering if I apply now early with my 161, and I don't get in can I reapply this cycle with my December score? Or alternatively, if I don't get my admissions decisions back before mid January, can I replace my October score with my December score on my application?

Gpa: 3.78
October lsat: 161
Targets: vandy, ut, ucla, top 20 etc

Hi Dillon,

You can't really re-apply during the same cycle. What will happen is that when you register for the December LSAT, the schools will be notified, and normally what they do is wait to make a final evaluation. So, unless your first score produces an instant admit, or if you are in a channel that has deadlines for returning a decision (such as Early Decision applications) they usually hold off. So, what you are talking about will pretty much happen automatically.

Does that help out? Please let me know. Thanks!
